01 · The idea
Quara is a coined technological concept formed by computationalizing aura, with a deliberate phonetic echo of core—the foundational layer of a system.
Core
The underlying machinery, architecture, and capability.
Aura
The presence, impression, or atmosphere something projects.
Quara
The technological presence produced when that core is experienced.

Te reo Māori · an independent linguistic resonance
uara
In te reo Māori, uara can mean “to desire or value” and, as a noun, “desire” or “benefit,” with additional monetary and mathematical senses of value. Quara was not derived from uara and is not presented as a Māori word. The parallel is acknowledged respectfully: core names what a system is built from; uara evokes what is valued; Quara describes the presence that core earns in lived experience.

khōra χώρα
In Plato’s Timaeus, khōra names the space or receptacle in which things come into being—neither the form nor the matter, but the place where presence happens. Quara was not derived from khōra and is not presented as a Greek word. The parallel is acknowledged: khōra is where something comes to be; Quara is the presence a system comes to have.

Quara is not a synonym for price, popularity, specifications, or hype. A credible profile separates facts, inference, and perception without pretending missing information is zero.
Evidence states
A complete profile receives an exact Qx. A qualified incomplete profile receives a visible range. Weak evidence withholds the result.

Build two evidence-aware profiles. Everything entered remains in this browser tab: there is no account, database, telemetry, or submission. Rate two systems from 0–5, disclose the strength of each claim, and record the evidence. The calculator runs locally in this page and sends or saves nothing.
Lab method (site edition): Qx is the weight-averaged rating of the assessed dimensions, scaled to 100. A profile needs at least five assessed dimensions before a provisional result is shown; inferred and subjective evidence widen it into a visible range; UNKNOWN never counts as zero. Quara profiles are evidence-aware evaluations, not scientific tests, warranties, endorsements, or certifications. The site cannot verify the information entered by a visitor.

The character sequence “Quara” predates this publication in unrelated names and uses. This record claims the proposed technological meaning computational aura, its evidence-aware Quara Index, and its registry method—not invention of the character sequence itself.
